There will be 5 questions on the next dictée pertaining to adverbs. This graphic will be helpful for students to prepare for the test. On the test an adjective will be given within a sentence and students will have to transform the adjective into an adverb. I will be reviewing this content with students on Monday and again immediately before the dictée on Tuesday.
In case you have not heard from your child I just wanted to let you know that we will be having a geometry math test the morning of Friday, February 24th. The test will be on identifying geometric shapes as well as on measuring angles. We have been studying these concepts over the past three weeks and we are spending time every day this week preparing for the upcoming test. Every student has a worksheet listing the geometric shapes that they need to be able to identify. They should be studying this at home. We are focusing on angles at school since I am concerned that if the students are taking their protractors back and forth between school and home they might misplace them.
